HOW WE POLISH ITALIAN & OTHER MARBLE FLOORS -:

Step 1: Marble Floor Grinding
Uneven marble floor installation/fixing or settling is called lippage. After some time scratches are unavoidable on a marble floor. A new marble floor always has floor flatness issue just because of bad installation.However, grinding is done for all kinds of floor whether it is fixed well or not. The grinding process eradicates all edges and roughness and makes the floor flat. It also removes the deepest scratches & stains. Zero size diamond floor polishing pads are used

Step 2: Marble Floor Honing
This process is done to enhance the shine & smoothness of the floor to remove visible stains & scratches from the marble floor. In this process, diamond floor polishing pads with grit 100 & 200 are used.

Step 3: Marble Floor Polishing
Marble Floor Polishing is done to give a shining effect to the stone floors. If the marble floor is in good condition in that case only diamond polishing is enough to give a mirror finished look to the floor and polishing diamond polishing pads with grit 400, 800 and 1500 are used.
Step 4: Buffing/Crystallization
Marble Buffing is the final stage in polishing and buffing is also known as marble crystallization. In Buffing/Crystallization process marble floor is treated with branded chemicals to use diamond pads/grits No. 3000 & 6000 which bring the mirror-finished shine.
